John joined the Gunners as a teenager from Luton Town in January 1995 and, in two seasons at the Club, made 62 appearances, scoring 16 goals, under Bruce Rioch and Arsène Wenger.
John left Arsenal for West Ham United in February 1997 and continued his fantastic career with the Hammers, Wimbledon, Coventry City, Celtic, West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City, before retiring in January 2008. As well as his successful club career, John was also a regular for his country Wales, earning 52 caps, in which time he scored 15 goals.
